Miles Morales is the newest Spider-Man in Marvel's New York City. Following the sad death of his father, Miles met Peter Parker who rapidly became not just his friend but also his mentor So when miles was also bitten by a genetically modified spider from Oscorp He then developed his own set of unique powers, and following months of persuading Peter he finally convinced Peter to train him. Now miles begins the next phase of his life in East Harlem, where he faces a torrent of new responsibilities whilst striving to maintain his friendships, whilst having a politician in the family makes it hard to balance his home life and his secret life as a hero. When a looming power struggle threatens to devastate his city, he will have to take up the Spider-Man mantle and make it his own, or face the possibility of losing it all.

Enthralling Plot That at Times is Heart Pounding
The story continues from the 2018's award-winning Game of the Year contender, Marvel's Spider-Man and not to worry if you haven't played its predecessor as you are filled in on all the action that you have missed, as Miles comes to terms with his new life which let's face it is not easy being a teenager let alone a budding superhero, but he still manages to be a likable character who you can relate to. Miles is more culturally aware than Peter Parker was, Insomniac and the writers from Marvel have produced an enthralling plot that at times is heart-pounding, the storyline flows along returning at times to the original 2018 events and using inspiration from the comic books to flesh out the story. Miles must go up against a shadowy vigilante group named the Underground who are at war with a massive mega-corporation called Roxxon and Miles is somewhere in the middle of the conflict.

Thanks to an app that his best friend from high school and tech wizard Ganke Lee has created, Miles can now find opportunities to help his fellow residents. Just as you would expect from your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, some of these tasks can seem a little boring like finding someone's lost cat or helping a driver trapped in the snow, but that is just what you would expect Spider-Man to be doing when he is not out saving the world. Explore the massive open world and search for upgrades to your suit, gadgets, and skills with his unique upgrade trees. He even has a special Venom power which is great at blasting your enemies, and I am sure that Peter Parker would be envious of it.
